The Annapurna Movement, now known as the Enrich Lives Foundation, was born from this very impulse to serve. In a time when food was scarce and the underprivileged suffered the brunt of scarcity, we began our journey. Our initial mission was simply feeding the hungry in the urban slums of Chembur, Mankhurd, and Govandi. With the support of family, friends, and local communities, and through personal challenges and societal hurdles, we distributed essential rations, ensuring that the most vulnerable were not left behind.
As the days turned into weeks, and then into months, our movement grew. Transparency and trust became the cornerstones of our expansion. Every parcel of aid, every donor’s contribution, and every volunteer’s effort was a step towards building a resilient community.
